- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to solicit Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipbuilding (NGNNS) (4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607) for a sole source, cost-plus-fixed fee (CPFF), level-of-effort contract. This proposed contract will fulfill the Navy's requirement to perform the install component configuration management and provisioning functions of the Reviewing Yard for CVN 68 Class Steam and Electric Plant components and systems for CVN 69, CVN 70, as well as provide logistics support services for CVN 69 and CVN 70. This effort includes the procurement of logistic technical data services to support the maintenance of the CVN 68 class and CVN 65 Steam Plant Manuals. Finally, this anticipated contract will include life cycle logistics and technical engineering services in order to support the CVN 68 Class Aircraft Carrier integrated propulsion plant as wel l as support and/or develop ship alteration packages for proposed modifications within the integrated propulsion plant.
