- Description
- The Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for 1-Omni Arm, aircraft component changer to D-Check Developments Inc, 5667 Stagecoach Rd, Rex, GA 30273-1314, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a separate written request for quotation will not be issued. THIS IS A CONTEMPLATED REQUIREMENT. The solicitation number for this announcement is F3LGLX31922800. This requirement is for One-Omni Army, C-130 Aircraft Component Changer, Model #NBM, and includes with air hydraulic pump, self lubricating hard chromed and ground ram, lifting points, frog feet caster system, casters with brakes and locks, load gauge, piston collars, non-skid work surface, maintenance and operational manuals. The nominal overall length is 54.750 inches, nominal overall width is 58.000 inches, nominal overall height is 58.750 inches, functional classification is GG-5.5. Special Features for this product are the following: 4 Forklift Pockets and Tow Bar, 4 Heavy Duty Swivel Casters and Brake, Non-Skid Work Surfaces, adjustable ground clearance, accessory storage, minimum height 47.250 inches, min width 48.000, air drive hydraulic pump, and Functional Description: The aircraft component changer is used for removal/installation of items such as landing gear assemblies, performs as landing gear changer transporter, holding fixture, unpackaged unit weight: 1200.000 pounds. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 336413 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The aircraft component changer will be delivered to Eglin AFB on an FOB Destination basis. Delivery date after award is 10 weeks after receipt of order. NOTE: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
