- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Moveable Walls for the Eglin AFB Readiness Center. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F7LGRR31960200. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238990, with a small business size standard of $12.0 million. This requirement is unrestricted. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF ONE 40' X 10' SINGLE-STACK MOVABLE WALL. ONE 40' X 10' BI-PARTING MOVABLE WALL. THREE PASS DOORS (ONE IN EACH SECTION). ALL SECTIONS ELECTRICALLY OPERATED. PARTITIONS ARE CARPETED ON BOTH SIDES. ALUMINUM TRACK SYSTEM AT BOTTOM AND TOP OF EACH WALL. MODIFICATION OF EXISTING STRUCTURE TO ACCOMMODATE NEW TRACK SYSTEM. ALL MATERIELS, LABOR, FREIGHT, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, ELECTRICAL SERVICES AND REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF EXISTING WALLS SHOULD BE INCLUDED. These items are to be delivered FOB Destination to Eglin Air Force Base on or before 30 September 2003. There will be a site visit at the Readiness Center, Building 1392, Eglin AFB, FL 32542 on 12 August 2003, 0900. Notify Sue Stanley if you plan on visiting the site.
