- Description
- The 377th Contracting Squadron, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, is seeking potential sources to provide a BRAND NAME or EQUAL Integrated particle image velocimetry (PIV), planar laser induced fluorescence (PLIF), Raman scattering measurement system. The integrated system shall provide flow field velocity measurements by PIV and temperature field measurements by PLIF and Raman scattering. Components comprising the system are: Camera and Camera Optics: (LaVision part number: Description) 1101024: Imager intense cross-correlation CCD camera with 1376 x 1040 pixel resolution, progressive scan CCD, 10 frames/sec, 12-bit digital output, thermo-electronically cooled, 6.45 x 6.45 mm pixels, including high speed digital camera interface (co-axial cable link). 1101064: Intensified relay optics (IRO 25), 25 mm diameter image intensified, photocathode S2 Phosphor P43, with a 5 ns minimum gate time and 3 kHz maximum repetition rate. IRO gating and exposure time controlled by integrated software package. 1000868: Nikon Micro Nikkor 60 mm focal length camera lens, f/2.8, F-mount, capable of 1:1 magnification. 1108562: Camera lens filter ? Bandpass filter for Acetone LIF, 52 mm diameter. 1108562-0-Raman: Camera lens filter ? Bandpass filter for air/nitrogen Raman signals, 52 mm diameter. Electronics: 1108013: Programmable Timing Unit (PTU) ? includes 16 output channels, 50 ns time resolution, 2 input triggers, shaft encoder input for phase locking external trigger, with 16 programmable outputs and 4 programmable inputs. 100 ns minimum time interval. 1104004: System Computer ? Includes dual P4 processors operating at greater than 3 GHz, 1 GByte RAM, 120 GB Harddisk with read/writeable CD-ROM drive, Zip drive, 20? LCD monitor, keyboard, mouse, Windows 2000 OS, DaVis software/camera interface with PTU installation and testing. Software: 1105001: DaVis Software package?Version 6.x, 32-bit software for image acquisition and processing, control of all hardware components, includes a fully integrated macro language for customizing the software, automatic image compression and image cropping. 1105011: 2D PIV/PTV Software package for cross- and auto-correlation image processing algorithms with high spatial resolution, second-order correlation, deformed window correlation, background image subtraction and multipass correlation with window off-set. Includes advance image acquisition techniques for high image thru-put and long sequence captures, advanced vector post-processing, and sophisticated image and vector field display. All relevant parameters are saved and stored with each image capture. 1105051: Raman Analysis Software Package?Integrated software accomplishes gas field density/temperature measurements. 1105041: LIF Analysis Software Package?Integrated software for image calibration for quantified temperature and concentration measurements. Optics and Lasers: 1108406: Adjustable light sheet optics for UV wavelengths ? sheet waist focal length infinitely adjustable between 300-2000 mm, two sets of cylindrical lenses: -10 and ?20 mm focal lengths, all quartz optics. 1103046: Nd:YAG Dual cavity pulsed laser?New Wave Research Gemini PIV 200, 2 x 200 mJ/pulse @ 532 nm, 15 Hz pulse rate, extended base plate, 4th harmonic generator, 266 nm dichroic mirror set, includes laser heads with beam combination optics and power supplies with external control panels. 1108042: Laser Energy Monitor ? Dual channel for single or dual pulsed lasers, shot-to-shot or time-averaged measurements, measurement synchronized with image/date acquisition, USB interface to computer system for control and acquisition through integrated software package. Monitor is capable measurements of two successive pulses 5 microseconds apart. 1102012: PIV/PFIF/Raman System Installation ? On-site installation provided by a qualified LaVision representative.
