- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida, is soliciting a contractor to provide Laboratory Testing Services. The offeror must provide proof of applicable State/Federal licenses, proof of malpractice insurance and be located within 100 miles of FCI Marianna. The offeror must be able to provide an on-line computer based retrieval system for all laboratory tests performed under the anticipated contract. The resulting contract will be for a base period not to exceed twelve months with a one year option period to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. The solicitation will be available on or around August 01, 2003 and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http:/www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed unless determined by the contracting officer to be in the best interest of the government. Future information concerning this acquisition, including any amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about the solicitation. The government may make award without discussions, therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
