- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a qualified business for the provision of trash removal services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Morgantown), 446 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, West Virginia 26501. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months and four one-year option periods for renewal that will total sixty months from the date of award (if all option periods are exercised). Estimated yearly contract requirements include: 1) Rental fee for one (1) twenty (20) cubic yard open top roll off container, 2) Pull fees for open top roll off container at an estimated 12 Pulls/year/total 3) Pull fees for self contained 38 cubic yard compactor unit (owned by FCI Morgantown) at an estimated 52 Pulls/year/total, 4) Landfill charges for open top roll off container estimated at 96 tons per year, 5) Landfill charges for self contained 38 cubic yard compactor unit estimated at 624 tons per year. All services provided must be in accordance with applicable solid waste disposal codes and regulations. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 562111, with a small business size standard of $10.5 million. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 8, 2003 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the referenced website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quote is on or about September 8, 2003. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a quotation which will be considered for award.
