Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to the Labs at Bonfils, 717 Yesemite Street, Denver, CO 80230. HLA Typing by DNA equencing for Class I A, B AND C is requested for the Mother-Infant Transmission Study. Laboratories at Bonfils was selected for the portion of this study as their expertise in this area is well recognized, performing HLA Testing for the Majority of the National Bone Marrow Transplants, therefore, it is important that CDC uses the same company (Technology) to complete the study. Labs at Bonfils will be typing the 200 specimens. This notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond within fifteen days of this announcement. All responses must be in writing by facsimile to the Contracting Officer at (770-) 488-2847 or email dreedpenix@cdcs.gov. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. This acquisition is being processed under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
