- The USDA, AMS, COTTON PROGRAM intends to complete a standard competition pursuant to OMB Circular A-76 for Production Assistants to serve in the capacity of general laborers in performing manual tasks in preparing cotton for classification. USDA is seeking to hire 10 operators for approximately 4,540 hours during a 10 week period. This ten week period will take place sometime between September 01, 2003 and December 30, 2003. NAICS Code 541310 with a small business size standard of $4.0 million. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. Simplified procurement procedures will be used to solicit Production Assistants for the Dumas AR area. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPIS/SOLICITATION.
