- The USDA, AMS, COTTON PROGRAM intends to complete a standard competition pursuant to OMB Circular A-76 for Production Assistants to serve in the capacity of general laborers in performing manual tasks in preparing cotton for classification. USDA is seeking to hire 8 Operators for approximately 4,800 hours during a 15 week period. This 15 week period will take place sometime between October 01, 2003 and January 30, 2004, NAICS Code 541310 with a small business size standard of $4.0 million. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. Simplified procurement procedures will be used to solicit Production Assistants for the Macon GA area. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPIS/SOLICITATION.
