- DTCG87-03-B-643211 ? Replacement of Wrangell Narrows Light 49 and Light 56. Replace Light 49 (LLNR 23105) and Rebuild Light 56 (LLNR 23155). Light 49 is a wood five pile structure that is being replaced with a 3 pile dolphin with a 4 foot square platform. Light 56 will be a 5 pile dolphin with a 4 foot square platform. Removal was completed earlier this summer. Contractor to fabricate all required materials with the exception of Government furnished materials. Removal of existing light 49 to be performed by Contractor and salvageable materials from Light 49 are to be delivered to the Coast Guard storage area in Petersburg, Alaska. The estimated project cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000 dollars. The industry standard NAICS code is #238990 and the applicable size standard is $12 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about August 15, 2003) at the following site: http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on this web site. Prospective bidders are responsible for checking the web site for amendments up to the date and time for receipt of proposals. Companies not having the capability to download solicitation documents may refer to a list of printers available through the CEU-Juneau web site at http://www.uscg.mil/mlcpac/ceujuneau. Printers on this list can download and print drawings and other solicitation documents for a fee. A planholders list will not be available from the Contracting Office. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside pursuant to the Small Business Act, (15 U.S.C. 631). All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which shall be considered by the U.S. Coast Guard.
