- Description
- The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, work and facilities necessary to perform all operations, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The scope of work for this project is as follows: Replace two steam heat stations at Power Plant at Clear AFS, Alaska. Each station consists of a 600/60 PSI pressure reducing valve (PRV) and water injection de-superheating. New PRVs and associated de-superheaters will provide an increased heating steam flow capability from the current 15,000 lbs per hour to 45,000 lbs per hour. Existing 3” high-pressure steam piping to the PRVs will be increased to 4”. Project involves the removal and disposal of asbestos containing pipe insulation. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238220 with a size standard of $12 million. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $500,000. This acquisition is being solicited under full and open competition conditions with a HUBZone Evaluation Preference in accordance with FAR 19.1307. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE VIA CD-ROM. AMENDMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE INTERNET ONLY. Award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract and the total performance period is 90 calendar days. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity.
