- Z - The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract for a period one (1) base year with an option for four (4) additional years. A multiple award of a maximum of 3 contracts is anticipated. Award will be made on other than price factors. Each task order contractor will be guaranteed to receive, at a minimum, a task order in the amount of $10,000.00 to ensure that each task order contractor has a fair opportunity, each additional task order awarded against this IDIQ contract shall be competed among all of the task order contractors, subject to the terms of the solicitation. Task order projects are expected to vary in price from $10,000.00 to $3,000,000.00. The maximum award each awarded contractor may receive during the term of the contract award is $3,000,000.00 for the base year and $3,000,000.00 for each option year awarded. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is a secure government facility. Access to the site is strictly controlled and limited. All contractor personnel shall undergo a security clearance and must receive approval to work on the premises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 236210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 million. See numbered note 27. The solicitation will be available on or about May 2, 2003 through FedBizOpps.
