- Description
- The US Special Operations Command intends to issue RFP USZA95-03-R-0033 to acquire lightweight aircraft antennas. A fixed-price indefinite quantity contract is anticipated. The item to be quoted is Antenna, SATCOM, Lightweight, P/N 19-429 manufactured by Chelton, Inc. Inspection and acceptance shall be at origin by the Government. Minimum contract quantity will be 10 antennas. Delivery for minimum quantity is required within 6 weeks after delivery order issuance. FOB point is destination. Delivery point is Fort Campbell, KY. DPAS assigned rating is DO-A1. This RFP does not provide for full and open competition. Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The intended source is Chelton Inc., Lewisville, TX. Technical data (engineering drawings and/or specifications) are not available nor is it economically feasible to acquire such data. Extensive reliability and functional testing would be required to test other antennas and resources are not available. Solicitation issue date is expected to be o/a 15 Aug 2003. Proposals must be delivered to U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, Attn.: AMSAM-TASO-K, 401 Lee Blvd., Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5577, no later than 4:00 PM local time on 14 Sep 2003. Emailed or faxed proposals are acceptable. Offerors shall submit firm fixed-price proposals only. Note 22 applies.
