- Request For Proposals: This acquisition is restricted to Japanese companies, or companies authorized and licensed to do business in Japan. The Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) Pacific Division is issuing a request for price (RFP) from qualified/capable sources within the country of Japan. The contractor shall provide all non-personal services, supervision, management, personnel, labor, materials, transportation, general and specialized equipment (except as specified as Government-furnished) in performing maintenance, repair, and equipment services for 14 separate school facilities sites located throughout Okinawa Japan. These sites include the DoDDs Pacific Directors and District Superintendent's Office facilities, all of which are operated under the purview of DoDDS-Pacific Directors Office authority. A single contract award is intended. Attached is the solicitation, document number MDA416-03-R-0007 for a one-year period. Contract award performance is scheduled for 01 October 2003 through 30 September 2004. This solicitation is a commercial type service and is prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR PART 12 and 13), as supplemented. All interested sources possessing the necessary resources and proven capability to perform a requirement of this magnitude are encouraged to submit an offer. Offers are due 15 August 2003, 1500 hours local Japan. Contract award is tentatively schedule for 30 August 2003. Interested/capable offerors shall have a DUNNS number.
