- Description
- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) contracting activity proposes to procure without using full and open competition an increase to the effort entitled 'Counter Proliferation System Engineering and Integration'. This will be accomplished using a sole source modification to raise the ceiling of contract DTRA01-99-C-0101, and will continue to expeditiously and effectively provide System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support services to the CP2 Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) and the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Combat Assessment System. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, 'Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.'
