- A site visit is scheduled for 6 August 2003 at 9:00 a.m. HST. Please meet at Bldg 209, Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe, Hawaii. All responsible parties shall notify the above point of contact with name and company no later than 4 August 2003, 3:30 p.m. HST, of their intent to attend the site visit. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal being required for the Firm-Fixed Price Contract. A sight visit is required. The point of contacts on site are GYSGT Gunthner, at (808) 257-3418 and CWO4 Oliva at (808) 257-8719. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-27. The Contracting Branch, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay intends to install a hydraulic test bench. For specifications on this solicitation, contact Valerie Kop Choy at (808) 257-0093. Provide a price quotation to: Item 0001 ? Installation of one (1) Existing Hydraulic Test Bench, Schroeder Industries Model HTB-100-E-59. This bench is located at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii, GSMCO Repair Facility, Bldg. 3013, Kaneohe Bay, HI 96863-3002. The period of performance will be September 28, 2003 through December 29, 2003. This procurement is restricted. The NAICS and the small business size standard for this procurement are 337127 and 500 employees respectively. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration database to be eligible for the Department of Defense contract award. Quoters are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at http://www/gsa.gov/forms/pdf_file and submit a quotation. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The quoter shall provide the information required in FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled ?Buy America Act-Supplies,? the quoter shall state and list the country of origin, DFAR 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (NOV 1995), and DFAR 252.225-7035-Buy American Act-North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate (MAR 1998)-Alternate I (MAR 1998).
