It's the requestor's responsibility to periodically check the IHDIV Contracts Division website for current status of solicitation and amendments. Once the solicitation has been issued on the Internet, the contract specialist will send an e-mail message to the registered requestors informing them that the solicitation is now available for downloading off the Internet. This requirement will be available for downloading from our website beginning approximately 15 September 2003. Prior to this date you will not be able to access this solicitation. The Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (IHD/NSWC) has been tasked to manufacture and provide depot repair support for the Gui dance Test Set (GTS), MK-693. Though the overall test set is manufactured at Indian Head, several subassemblies of the GTS are missile guidance components and sensors. The most complex component is the Reference Measurement Unit and Computer (RMUC). The RMUC contains the guidance computer and navigation instruments as used in the Tomahawk missile. Evaluation, repair and maintenance of the RMUC and related test equipment are the focus of this Statement of Work (SOW). Due to the high usage and limited quantity of GTS assets, IHD/NSWC strives to provide the fleet with timely test, repair and turn-around of the GTS and it's main subassembly, the RMUC. This procurement is being issued under authority 10 USC 2304 (C) (1) only one responsible source. The Government intends to award a sole source award to Litton Systems Inc. as a result of this solicitation. The anticipate d contract will be a Firm Fixed Price IDIQ, Completion Type Contract. The NAISC Code is 336419. The period of performance is 12 months base period and four (4) one year options.
