- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide maintenance and repair services for fire protection, intruder, and tank/line leak detection systems at Navy Supply Corps School, Athens, GA by means of a Combination Firm Fixed-Price/Indefinite Quantity contract in accordance with contract requirements. Work includes the performance of service call work to make repairs to return systems to proper operation; and inspection, testing, and maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability; and indefinite quantity work to monitor building alarm systems. The contract will include a base period of 12 months, with four 12-month options. The entire solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil on 1 August 2003. All prospective offerors are encouraged to register themselves on the web site. HARD COPIES OR CD-ROMS OF THE SOLICITATION OR THE PLANHOLDERS LIST WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE GOVERNMENT. ALL CONTRACTURAL AND TECHNICAL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING AND MAY BE FAXED TO (706)354-7304 OR EMAILED TO RICHARD.PITTMAN@CNET.NAVY.MIL. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION WILL BE ACCEPTED. All future amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore; it is the offeror's responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments to this solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive an award. The CCR web site is http://www.ccr.gov.
