Description

The work includes the following and incidental related work. Repair/replace 200 feet by 5,400 feet of broken concrete runway pavement, concentrating in carrier decks, repair the runway pavementjoints, repair the equipment dirt parking area and access roads, and repair a portion of asphalt taxiway pavement to allow safe access by crash equipment and service vehicles. The access pavement is 14 feet wide for most of its length and then narrows down to 12 feet wide, just past the crash truck alert areas, for the smaller service vehicles. An asphalt overlay shall be added to the repaired dirt parking area and access roads.
