- Description
- RFP is expected to be issued on or about August 25, 2003 (sooner if possible). The solicitation will be unrestricted and issued subject to the availability of funds under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program of FAR 19.10. Solicitation Documents will be available in electronic format only. No paper copies will be provided. Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary to construct approximately 2,000 gross square feet at the current Irving Avenue entrance to allow for improvement of pedestrian access and create a new main entrance to the Medical Center. This will also renovate approximately 500 gross square feet of the Irving Avenue entrance to expand the lobby and connect to the new addition on the East face of the Medical Center. On-site work cannot begin until Spring 2004 and must be coordinated with the schedule of another project (Construct MRI) to allow for building access. Work includes demolition, excavation, site work, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, erection of interior walls and finishes, fire protection, etc. There is no scheduled site visit. Appointments to visit the site may be made with the Contracting Officer. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS code is 233320 and the small business size standard is $28.5M.
