- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Classified and Controlled Information Review (SO-70) intends to award a sole source contract to R.M. Vredenburg and Company, of Reston VA, for customization of its VeFOIA proprietary computer software, for use by DOE in classified document tracking, retrieval, review and redaction. The necessary software licenses have been acquired previously by DOE. The proposed contract is projected to be Time and Materials, for a maximum period of five years, with a base period covering the customization effort and several option periods primarily for follow-on maintenance and support. The maximum period of performance covered is Fiscal Years 2004-2008 inclusive. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties may submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within 45 calendar days of the publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
