- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), intends to procure construction services for the Pivers Island Bridge located at Beaufort, North Carolina. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and each and every item of expense to repair the bridge precast girders and concrete abutments. The bridge is approximately 25 feet wide by 300 feet long. The resultant procurement will be a fixed-price purchase order. Completion time for this project is 75 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bid. Award is subject to the availability of funds. The solicitation will be available on or about August 18, 2003. Firms interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation should send a written request to the contracting officer, referencing this announcement number. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. Copies of the solicitation documents are limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. The Central Administrative Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) before October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all bidders must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
