- LBL anticipates awarding a fixed price IDIQ/Requirements contract for the following: Services include, but are not limited to, resources and work necessary for preventive, routine, special response, cyclic, and non-routine maintenance on facilities, programs, activities, systems, areas, and/or structures located in LBL. Types of maintenance services include, but are not limited to, work on buildings and other structures; electrical systems; thermal and moisture protection; finishes; specialty items; equipment; furnishings; maintenance on appliances; food service equipment; clothes washers and dryers; heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems; playgrounds; boat ramps; docks and piers; fencing; fuel dispensing equipment; water distribution systems; wells; swimming pool; wastewater treatment systems; lift stations; chlorinators; sprinkler systems; alarm systems; building control systems; and chemical toilets. Additional services include masonry; locksmith; plaster and drywall; carpentry; painting; signs; plumbing and pipefitting; electrical (interior and exterior); sheet metal work; welding; custodial, janitorial, and cleaning; environmental stewardship management and maintenance; EBP and SBR corral maintenance, repair, and screening; and maintenance and repair of EBR entry gates, token machines and interpretive stops. A site visit / pre-proposal conference will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2003, in the LBL Administration Building beginning at 8:00am. Reservations for the conference can be made by contacting Glen Kinder at (270) 924-2045. All reservations must be made no later than Thursday, August 28, 2003. Transportation for the tour of LBL will be provided to no more than 3 representatives per contractor. Test program procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5 are being used for this solicitation.
