- Description
- Purpose of this solicitation is to secure services necessary to perform mechanical shredding on the Groveland Ranger District, Stanislaus National Forest. Mech shredding is to reduce fuels in brush land and forest as well as to facilitate reforestation in stands by mech. shredding/cutting/chipping live and dead brush, new and old slash, small dead conifers, knob-cone pines, live conifers and oaks. Est start date is September 1, 2003 - The Government contemplates award of a 5-year Firm Fixed Price Requirements Contract by placing orders with the Contractor depending on funds availabloe during the initial base year and subsequent option years thereafter. PROJECT WILL BE AVAIL ON FIDBIZOPPS APPROX AUG 1, 2003.
