- Description
- This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is seeking Section 8(a) and HUBZone small businesses for competitive consideration. A Market Survey is being conducted by 45th Contracting Squadron, 45 CONS/LGCAB, Patrick AFB, FL to determine the sizes and types of business eligible for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type Paving Contract for a base year with four option years. The work will be on as required basis and includes but not limited to repair, replace, or construct new paved streets, parking areas, curbs and gutters, associated storm drains, taxiways, aircraft aprons and runway surfaces. Work can include: repair, overlay, and striping of existing pavement; construction of new pavement, base subbase, and striping; and rework of associated drainage systems, sodding, seeding, minor landscaping, and utilities associated with roadways, taxiways, aircraft aprons, runways, and parking areas at Patrick AFB and Cape Canaveral Air Station FL. The minimum guaranteed amount for only the basic contract period of performance is approximately $150,000.00. No minimum guaranteed amount will be given for the option years. The estimated maximum amount for the life of the contract is $9.0M. NAICS code is 237310 with a size standard of $28.5 million. All interested firms to include eligible Section 8 (a) and HUBZone small businesses should notify this office in writing by mail of your interest in this notice. Responses should include: (1) Identification of company size status, certifications, i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, or if you are a small business, you must provide a self-certification. (2) If you are an Section 8(a) or HUBZone firm considering a joint venture, you will need to provide proof that this consideration has been forwarded to the cognizant SBA office for approval. (3) Proof of experience and capability. NOTE: This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP), or an announcement of a solicitation. Responses are required no later than 10 January 2003. Responses should be addressed to: 45 CONS/LGCAB, 1201 Edward H. White II St., Patrick AFB, FL 32925, Attn: SSgt Greg Reiss, Contract Specialist. Firms interested should provide the above documentation, in one original and one copy. Responses shall be limited to 5 pages. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market survey nor return the data provided. The results of this survey will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year form the date of this notice.
