- Description
- Repair/Upgrade/Modernization to Passenger and Freight elevators, Wheelchair lifts, Vertical Freight Lifts, Dumbwaiters and Dock Levelers (total of seven elevaors). The North American Indsutry Classification system (NAICS) number is 235950 (Building Equipment) applies to businesses with less than $12.0 million in annual receipts. The magnitude of ths project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. All responsible sources are invited to submit their proposals. Woman-owned and disabled veteran-owned businesses are encouraged to participate. The contractor must comply with FAR 52.225-9 Buy American Act-Construction Materials. Facimile proposals will not be accepted. This acquisition will utilize the Performance Pricee Trade-Off (PPT) technique for a best value award decision. Price and Performance risk may be traded off, one against the other. Offerors will be required to submit past perfromance information. A Small Businesss Subcontracting Plan is required if awarded to a large business. This is unrestricted, full and open competition acquisition. We anticipate isuing the oslicitation o/a 10 June 2003 with a closing date o/a 10 July 2003 utilizing eh Federal Busines Opportunities (www.fedbizopps.gov/)for electronic posting. This solicitation will be an Internet only and solicitation documents will not be available by any other means.
