- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Albuquerque Field Office, has a requirement for a solar powered water pumping system. The project is located 100 miles southwest of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The contractor is to provide all the necessary material, equipment and labor to furnish and install a solar powered water pumping system. This effort involves excavation, filling and minor concrete work. The contractor is to furnish and install 2 fiberglass reinforced plastic tanks and 1 photovoltaic water pump system. The photovoltaic (PV) water pump system shall be capable of supplying the required quantities of water. The system shall be complete with modules, support rack, disconnects, controller, motor/pump unit, and related wiring. The system shall operate automatically, with no user attention. It shall pump water proportional to the amount of incident sunlight. This solicitation will be available on or about August 12, 2003. There will be a site visit on August 20, 2003 at 10:30am. The meeting location is at the junction of State Road 117 and County Road 42. This is approximately 35 miles south west of I-40. Bid responses will be due on September 12, 2003.
