- This is an amended synopsis. Parts of the description were omitted. DESCRIPTION: To purchase Jade High Performance Extended Response LWIR Thermal Imaging and Measurement System; 200mm F2.0 Jade LWIR Lens; 100mm F2.0 Jade LWIR Lens; 50 mm F2.0 Jade LWIR Lens; Altair Image Analysis Processing System; and Calibration for Jade Camera. This is a Sole Source procurement, synopsis for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for procurement of an item for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is Electrophysics in West Fairfield, NJ. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Local Note H.
