Description
Enhancement of digital/analog voice telephone systems as a Private Branch Exchange with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and will be referred to in this document, as the "PBX's". Bay Pines and Ft. Myers current NEC systems shall be enhanced to NEAX IPX systems; Charlotte, Collier, Manatee, North Pinellas, and Sarasota current NEAX IVS 2000 systems shall be enhanced to NEAX IPS systems; and South Pinellas=92s current ComDial Key system shall be converted to a NEAX IPS system. The latest software release available at cutover shall also be provided.=20 Voice Mail, Automated Attendant, and call detail reporting shall also be provided. The existing Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) system shall be reused, and provide coverage to all sites. The existing Pharmacy Refill Patient Reminder System shall be reused. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) functions must be supported for both trunks and end user devices. The necessary interfaces, to include hardware and software, to support wireless functionality shall be provided. The PBX; Voice Mail/Automated Attendant; with existing ACD and Pharmacy Refill Patient Reminder system under consideration shall be contracted on the basis of one supplier providing all items in the statement of work as a total system including installation and warranty services.=20 Offerors must hold a GSA Connections contract in either Category I or Category III. The proposal request package will only be available on the Web. Written correspondence concerning this procurement must be sent to the Contracting Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs, 1335 East-West Highway, 3rd Floor, Silver Spring, MD 20910. The date for receipt of initial proposals is 2:00 PM EDST, August 19, 2003.
