Description

The Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, WV, is seeking a qualified individual or organization to provide the services of a Psychiatrist to the female inmate population. The contractor will provide services in a method considered normal by community standards to include, but not limited to; conducting patient evaluations, diagnostic testing, recommending treatment program and prescribing necessary medication and reviewing and signing PA qualification briefs. The contractor shall normally provide 1 (six hour) session per week. The period of performance shall be from date of award through September 30, 2004, with the Government's unilateral right to exercise two (2) option years. This solicitation will be available on or about August 7, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site @http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All qualified sources are encourage to submit an offer which will be considered for award. The estimated date for receipt of offers is September 10, 2003.
