- **THIS IS A RE-ADVERTISEMENT**. The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for Pre-Commercial Tree Thinning and Slash Treatment for the Fools Hollow Ridge TSI project, approximately 473 acres, located on the Lakeside Ranger District. Funds for this project are not currently available, when funds become available, work shall consist of reducing fire and fuels hazards through reduction of tree density and subsequent slash treatment. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Small Business size standard is $5.0 Million, NAICS code 115310 applies. An organized Pre-Work/Site Visit will be announced in the solicitation package. The solicitation package, plans, and specifications will make available and posted at www.fedbizopps.gov (entire packages may be requested in writing, by fax or mail) on or after August 4, 2003. No Telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted. You may request printed copy of the solicitation package by Fax to: (928) 333-6362. The last day to request solicitation packages shall be August 21, 2003. Closing date Offers shall be August 29, 2003, 4:30 p.m. Arizona Time. If funding does not become available, the Government will cancel this solicitation by posting a notice in FedBizOpps and re-announce at a later date.
