- The Unites States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, North Central Research Station, Rhinelander, Wisconsin intends to issue a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, Far Part 11, Far Part 12, Far Part 13 and as prescribed in 411.171, the following provision: Brand Name of Equal Nov 1996, to Dynamax, 10808 Fallstone Suite 350, Houston Texas, for a Flow-TDP Sap Velocity System. This action is pursuant to 41 USC 253 (c)(1) and under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The system includes: 2 ? Model FLGS-TDP, Flow-TDP Sap system; CR10X Datalogger for up to (32) TDP, AM416 Multiplexer, ENC12/14 Enclosure, Data Retrieval and Analysis Software, RS232 Interface, 9 Pin to PC Com1 Cable, (2) AVRD Dual Voltage Regulators, Battery and Charger. Comes assembled and tested. 64 Model TDP-30, Thermal Dissipation probe, 30mm, 1 TC, 10ft. Cable with waterproof Connectors. 16 Model ExTP-50, Extension Cable, 5W/50ft, w/ Connectors. 16 Model ExTP-75, Extension Cable, 5W/75ft, w/Connectors, 32 Model ExTP-100, Extension Cable, 5W/100ft, w/Connectors. 2 Model TDPJ1, Drilling Jig, Bits, Removal Prybar. 4 Model MSX50R, Solar Panel, 50W, w/ Mounts and Regulators. This is a Simplified Acquisition with an estimated value of less than $30,000. This notice is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. However, if any interested party believes it can meet the above requirements, they may submit a statement of capabilities. Information furnished shall be in writing and shall contain sufficient detail, to allow NCRS to determine if the party can meet the requirement. Capability statements must be received in the Contracting Office by 3:00 PM Central time on August 12, 2003.
