- The synopsis dated May 22, 2003, for RFQ SP0100-03-Q-4184 was issued as an unrestricted acquisition. The quantity is 1,500 for the Hood, Flyer?s Cold Weather, Aramid (NSN: 8415-01-167-7242 and PGC: 01878). Applicable item specification is MIL-J-83388, 18 June 1992 with pattern date 16 July 1992. Production lead-time is 180 days after of award with 4 deliveries. Prior award history is as follows: Contractor: Propper International; Award date: July 2 1998 and Quantity: 3,772. NOTE: The hood must be produced in United States. There is an amendment 0001 to the SP0100-03-Q-4184, which extended the closed date to 14 August 2003.
