- Provide and install a floating dock system with an automatic drive-on boat lift. Features include a floating dock to be able to accommodate two (2 each) 25 ft Coast Guard SAFE boats. Automatic lift system to lift the boat for maintenance and/or repair. Price of dock system shall include delivery and installation, assembled and ready for use by 30 Sep 2003. Delivery shall be to USCG Marianas Section, Victor Pier, Marianas, Guam. FOB destination. The government will award on best value. Evaluation factors to be considered are meeting installation and delivery date, meeting technical features, past performance and price. Package to include technical/maintenance manuals and commercial warranties. This is set aside for small business. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. The NAICS code is 336999 with a size standard of 500 employees. The provisions of FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items apply to this solicitation. Offerors are required to complete a copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certification Commercial Items. The clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Condition Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and incorporated by reference.
