- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division requires 18 mm ANVIS HIGH PERFORMANCE TUBE ASSEMBLIES to be utilized by NSWC Crane. Detailed performance and technical specifications will be available with the solicitation, and this acquisition will be conducted on a best value basis. Performance specifications will be provided which will contain the Government?s minimum performance requirements. CLIN 0001 will be manufactured in accordance with Performance Specification MX-10160/AVS-6 NSW, CLIN 0002 will be manufactured in accordance with Performance Specification MX-10160C/AVS-6 NSW. Evaluation criteria shall consist of delivery schedule, past performance, and price. The Navy intends to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a minimum of 2 units and a maximum of 3000 units. Delivery will be specified in individual delivery orders, and the Government will require delivery of a minimum of 20 units every 30 days until contract is complete. This RFP may result in multiple awards. Delivery for the assemblies shall be FOB destination, NSWC Crane, 300 HWY 361, Crane, IN 47522, within 90 days from the effective date of contract award. Preliminary inspection will occur at source by a Government QAR and final inspection and acceptance will be at destination by NSWC Crane personnel. The solicitation will be posted on the NSWC Crane web site at www.crane.navy.mil; no hardcopies of the solicitation will be mailed.
