- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL, 46th Test Wing, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, for the purchase of four Cryo-cooled and one LN2 camera heads and associated software. This requirement is a set aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333315 with a small business size standard of 500. The reference number is F77TSW31920100, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The requirement is for ALL NEW PARTS. No USED OR REFURBISH. We require the following specifications: LARGE FORMAT MWIR CAMERA. SENSOR: IR FOCALPLANE ARRAY (FPA). OPTICS: FILTERING CAPABILITY. ELECTRONICS: SUPERFRAME. DATA INPUT/OUTPUT: RAW DATA. SYSTEM MISC. OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE: 0 TO 50 DEG C. STORAGE TEMPERATURE RANGE: -20 TO 100 DEG C. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS: COMPLETE SYSTEM SHALL BE OPERATED FROM A SINGLE 28 VDC POWER SUPPLY. SIZE: FPA, DEWARS, CRYO-COOLERS, AND OPTICS SHALL FIT IN A BOX THAT IS 6"H X 5"W X 15"L WITH THE OPTICAL AXIS RUNNING LENGTH-WISE.
