Description

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with the National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP), 50 Monument Square Suite 520, Portland, ME 04101, to develop a Premium Assistance Quality Improvement Toolbox of specific operational materials that will help states evaluate the design options that will best allow them to implement programs of high quality. The Toolbox will build on experiences of states with existing programs to improve premium assistance models. In particular, the Toolbox will explore Health Insurance Flexibility and Accountability (HIFA) policies that provide states with new flexibility on benefits, cost-sharing and cost effectiveness. Solicitation CMS-03-001EW will be available in hard copy. The Government will not pay for any cost for contractor's quote submitted in response to this solicitation. The Government will consider interest expressed within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. Written requests should be submitted to Evelyn A.
