- Description
- A hard copy of the complete solicitation package may be obtained by contacting Sherry Clark at 308-432-0300. Project consists of constructing 5 water bars and repairing 11 stream crossings along Slate Creek. The stream crossings will be repaired by constructing tree bundles and/or placing rocks and placing fill material on the stream banks. Materials to bundle and anchor tree bundles will be furnished by the contractor, all other materials are located on site. This project is on the Black Hills National Forest and the location of this project is at Flannigan Cabin, which can be reached by turning north at the intersection of China Gulch road (NFSR 249) and Highway 16, approximately 1 mile east of Hill City, South Dakota. Drive north approximately 6 miles and turn left at the Slate Creek Dam road (NFSR 530). Drive west approximately .8 miles and turn right on Spaw Gulch road (NFSR 606). Drive north approximately 4.5 miles to a dead end. This is the location of the Flannigan Cabin. A prebid meeting has been scheduled for August 6th, 9:00 am MDT, at the Mystic Ranger District, 23939 Highway 385, Hill City, South Dakota.
