- This Solicitation is being modified to delete the prior Modification due to Solicited Number was errorneouly modified. Solicitation that was supposed to be modified was SP0450-03-R-0826. This Solicitation SP0450-03-R-0827 will be archived and is not active. I apologize for this error. Solicitation Number SP0450-03-R-0827, NPG02148001214, NSN 6830-01-196-8338, Extinguisher Assembly, Fire, Vaporizing-Liquid, Bromotrifluoromethane, 95 LB capacity, 1301 shipping name Bromotrifluoromethane, R13B1, Hazard Class/Division 2.2, I.D. No. UN1009 Label Required, Nonflammable gas. Unit Qty equals 95 LBS of product per cylinder, Ansul Inc., Cage 03670, P/N 52704N. This product shall be furnished as Government furnished material in 1123 LB cylinders under NSN 6830-01-392-4999. The empty cylinder shall be returned using NSN 8120-01-356-5961. The assembly and charging process shall be IAW MIL-E-24572B using the Halon 1301 as furnished any unused product that was furnished as Government furnished materials shall be returned. Critical Application item, IAW SPEC CID A-A-59503, QAP 002 applies. Solicitation is Unrestricted and Origin Inspection Required. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed price, definite quantity contract for 100 EA, 60 DAYS ARO, destination at SRU. The Solicitation will issue on November 22, 2002 with a closing date of December 18, 2002.
