- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a contract for the purchase of PC based, commercial off the shelf actuarial software and support services. Support services will include software maintenance, technical support services, professional actuarial services and training. The purpose of this acquisition is to assist the IRS Large and Midsize Business Division (LMSB) with the audits of life insurance companies. The solicitation number is TIRNO-02-R-00029 and the solicitation document will be posted on the internet at http://www.procurement.irs.treas.gov/ within 24 hours of the publication of this synopsis. All vendors who download a copy of the solicitation and wish to be included on the Bidders List must register by fax at (202)283-0610. This registration should include only the company name, address and point of contact. This registration should not include questions, advertisements or other non-pertinent information. This registration should not be considered a request for the solicitation. Copies of the solicitation can only be obtained from the internet address listed above. All relevant information regarding proposal preparation and submission will be included in the solicitation document.
