- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Pall Aeropower Corporation, Clearwater, FL 33760-3137 for the acquisition of a Portable Water Measuring Equipment P/N TD513D1PWSA. The required basic quantity is for forty-five (45). An option for an additional one hundred twenty-three (118) may be exercised within one year of contract award. Option may be exercised in whole or in part. The Portable Water Measuring Equipment is used to check for water contamination of H-60 Transmissions and Gearbox fluids due to condensation (Hygroscopic). This will allow immediate testing & results to be done on site. Required delivery is for the basic quantity is sixty (60) days after contract award and ninety (90) days for the option quantities if invoked. The proposed acquisition is Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings. Pall Aeropower Corporation holds all technical data rights to the PSE. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
