- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation documentation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. The Library of Congress has a requirement to purchase the following equipment. 1. Studer A807 0.75 VUK 1/4" Professional Analog Tape Recorder "Archivist" (10 each) 2. Service Manual, A807 (4 each) 3. Spare Parts for Studer A807, Pinch Roller Part #1.167.178.82 (10 each) 4. Spare Parts for Studer A807, Brake Band Part #1.167.866.00 (20 each) 5. Spare Parts for Studer A807, Play Head 1/4" .75mm Part #1.318.736.00 (1 each) 6. Spare Parts for Studer A807, 1/4" Track Head, Part #1.116.046.00 (20 each) 7. Spare Parts for Studer A807, NAB Adapter, 1/4" standard, Part #89.01.0354 (20 each) 8. 1/4" half track head block for Studer A80 RC Part #1.020.751.00 (1 each) 9. 1/4" Studer A80 RC Roller Kit (1 each). All items shall be delivered within sixty days after receipt of order. FOB, Destination: Library of Congress, Receiving Unit, Landover Center Annex, 1701 Brightseat Road, Landover, Maryland 20785. The following provisions apply to this acquisition ; 52.212-1 Instruction to Offeror-Commercial and 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items (under this clause the following clauses have been modified by the Library of Congress; 52.233-1 Disputes 52.232-25 Prompt Payments. These clauses shall be available upon written request) offerors shall include a complete copy of this provisions at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes of Executive Order - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition (under this clause the following clause have been modified by the Library of Congress; 52.223-3 Convict Labor and 52.215.2 Audit and Records Negotiations. These clauses shall be available upon written request.) The following FAR clauses are applicable under 52.212-5; 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity, 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; 52.225-3 Buy American Act- Supplies and 52.211-5 New Material. Proposals shall be submitted by fax on company letterhead to: 202-707-8611 NO LATER THAN AUGUST 8, 2003.
