- Description
- SOURCES SOUGHT: The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego intends to issue a solicitation to procure contractor support to provide medical transcription services and on-site clerical support for the Naval Medical Center, San Diego. Qualified small business sources are being sought to provide the services. The period of performance shall commence on 01-Oct-2003, and will include a base year and four option years. The solicitation will be conducted under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 561410 (Document Preparation Services), which establishes a small business size standard of $5M. The proposed acquisition may be competed as a Small Business Set-Aside based upon the number of responses from small business concerns and their technical capabilities based on completion of the Technical Capability Information Sheet. Respondents should identify t heir business status (i.e. HUBZone small business, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman-owned, Native American (tribally-owned or Alaskan native) and provide all information requested. In addition, contractors that are interested in subcontracting opportunities should also complete the Technical Capability Information Sheet and specify what functions they are interested in and capable of performing. This information will be used to develop any subcontracting goals. The contractor shall provide contract information under the past performance section that is similar to the effort described in the Draft Statement of Work. All interested sources can request a copy of the Draft Statement of Work and Technical Capability Information Sheet from Lynda Hall at Lynda.hall@navy.mil. The Technical Capability sheet must be completed and returned to lynda.hall@navy.mil NO LATER THA N 23 JUL 2003. Telephone and facsimile responses to this synopsis will not be accepted. It is currently anticipated that solicitation N00244-03-R-0056 will be released the week of August 3rd, 2003. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties at www.neco.navy.mil
