- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for one (1) each Automated SMT Pick and Place Machine. The system must include all equipment, controls, software, manuals, and training required to operate the equipment. Needs to be capable of placing components ranging in size from 0201 chip to 20 mil QFP style packages. Must accept components packaged in tape and reel, cut tape, tube, and waffle trays in a mixed environment. Placement accuracy shall be no less than 0.03 mm. Must be capable of placing up to 3,000 components per hour minimum. Shall be capable of accepting circuit boards, or panels of circuit boards, ranging in size from 1 by 1 inch to 12 by 20 inches. Control software must accept centroid files (?.ctr? extension). Manual and teach programming shall be supported. Teach programming must accommodate an integral camera system to assist in comp onent placement. Must be capable of accepting a fluid dispensing system, to be capable of dispensing both solder pastes and adhesives. Required delivery to be within 30 days after date of contact award. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 29 Jul 03. The closing date of the solicitation will be 8 Aug 03, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 333298 with a size standard of 500. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsib le for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An e-mail request to powersm@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. The offeror must have a current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov ). Any questions should be submitted in writing via the fax number provided above or e-mailed to powersm@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection o f the same.
