- Naval Air Warfare Center (Aircraft Division) Patuxent River, MD Code 4.11 has a requirement to purchase 39 Diehl MCM Processor modules for the SLAM-ER weapons integration into the P3C aircraft. This is a notice of intent to request a proposal from and negotiate with Sabre Systems, Inc., 65 West Street Road, Suite A-200, Warminster, PA 18974 on a sole source basis for an increased level of effort on an existing contract delivery order. Sabre Systems, Inc. has been identified as the only responsible source capable of meeting the Government?s requirements. It is anticipated that a Time and Materials order will be awarded to Sabre for the purchase of the modules. The following description applies to the requirement: Purchase, test and install components critical to the operational capability of the SLAM-ER system. Purchase 39 Diehl MCM Processor modules, P/N DH23D100L2M-003. These are sub-components of the Advanced Stores Management Module (ASMM). The Diehl modules shall be delivered at a rate equal to or greater than 6 units per month, beginning no more than 39 weeks after receipt of order; or they shall be installed on the ASMM modules and delivered per an ASMM delivery schedule agreed to by the Navy in a separate contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423, or by accessing the CCR web site at http://ccr.edi.isa.mil/. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
