- NA This acquisition is a fixed price procurement for construction of a stone revetment along the Barnegat Inlet frontage in Island Beach State Park, Ocean County, New Jersey. Work includes but is not limited to: removal of existing stone and underlying soil s, removal of a timber bulkhead, re-arrangement of existing stone, placement of geotextile, placement of new riprap, and minor repairs to timber bulkhead. Marine construction within an open ocean inlet will be required to complete the project. The requir ed quantity of stone to complete the project is estimated to be greater than 40,000 tons. Delivery of the stone to the site will be required by barge. Debris removal from site will be by water only. The completed seawall length will be approximately 2,9 50 feet. Completion time is 215 calendar days. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 SIC 1622 and the small business size standard is $28.5 million. Hard copies of the amendments will not be furnished. It is the contractors responsibility to monitor the web page for any amendments to this solicitation. Estimated co st range of the project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. All contractors must be registered in the DODs Central Contractor Registration database as required by DFARS 204.7300 and comply with VETS 100 annual reporting as required by FAR 22.1310 b prior to awar d. Instructions will be included in the Solicitation. Liquidated damages will be specified. Davis Bacon rates will be applicable to the construction and bonding is required. Please note, Documents Bonds, Power of Attorney, Statements of Authenticity an d Continuing Validity, and all related documents must not bear computer printer generated signatures and/or seals. Documents bearing signatures and/or seals generated as part of a document, as opposed to being affixed to the document after its generation, will not be accepted. Submission of such documents may render your bid or offer non-responsive and ineligible for award. Please review all bonds and accompanying documents required to be submitted.
