- Description
- The 11th Contracting Squadron at Bolling AFB, DC intends to award a sole source contract to The Odyssey Cruise Line, 600 Water Street, SW Washington, D.C. 20024. The requirement is for the rental of a cruise ship to perform a welcome reception in Washington, D.C. for one day during the month of September 2003 (TBD) for dignitaries attending the Global Air Chiefs Conference. The cruise ship must travel along the northern route of the Potomac River so to cross in front of the national monuments and memorials to include: the Washington Monument and the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials. The cruise line must provide amenities, to include a dance floor to accommodate a minimum of 20 people, tables and chairs to seat approximately 30 guests on the outside deck and provide a wrap-around deck. Level of staffing must service approximately 450 - 500 Distinguished Visitors and provide a ratio of 1 waiter per 20 people for food and beverage services as well as staff to handle passed hors d' oeuvres. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Note 22. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract.
