- Hurlburt Field intends to award a sole-source (sole manufacturer) contract for ten (10) each Fixed Chute Assembly, Part Number 912D0201-1, Manufactured by Syn-Tech Systems, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This requirement is set-aside 100 percent for small business. The SIC is 3829; size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334519; the size standard is 500 employees. The government requires purchase of ten Fixed Chute Assemblies as they are an essential piece to the Ammunition Loading System. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. Award will not be made on the basis of responses to this synopsis. Firms responding to this synopsis should reference the solicitation number and indicate their business size as defined by FAR 52.219. Inquiries concerning this synopsis must be in writing and may be faxed to 850-884-5372. Numbered Note 22 applies with the following revision: "...all proposals received within 15 days... after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government...?
