- Description
- This is a synopsis for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity for Linear Actuating Cylinder, applicable to the C-5 Aircraft. Buyer requests that this contract cover a period of five years for order from date of issuance of contract. Maximum contract is quantity is 46. The Initial contract order is 16 each. First Year Minimum is 16 each and the First Year Maximum is 22 each. Each of the out-year contract order minimum is 1 each and each of the out-year contract order maximum is 6 each. The NSN is: 1650-00-098-4775UC; NOUN: for Linear Actuating Cylinder; P/N: 1211104-3 for Cage Code 98391 or P/N: 4H90234-111A for Cage Code 98897. Size/Dimension for P/N 4H90234-111A is not available. Size/Dimension for P/N 1211104-3 is as follows: Height: 9.40 inches, Width: 2.5 inches, Depth: N/A, and Pounds: 2.9 lbs. Tech Order: 9H2-3-80-3. Form/Function: Locks and unlocks the main landing gear and nose landing gear door assemblies. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Aluminum housing with steel internal components. DELIVERY: 16 Each on or before 28 July 2004 days after receipt of order. The approximate RFP issue date will be 7 August 2003 with the approximate response date of 8 September 2003. RFQ will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor will be accepted. This procurement will use the Red/Yellow/Green (RYG) Program in the evaluation of past performance. This is a limited source procurement, per USC 2304(c)(1) to: Arkwin Industries, Inc. (Cage Code: 98391) and Lockheed Martin (Cage Code: 98897). JUSTIFICATION: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency requirements. Specifications, plans, or drawings related to this procurement are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
