- Description
- Contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to renovate for "Expand Outpatient Services" at the VA Medical Center, Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, Iowa, in accordance with the developed plans and specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing food preparation and dishwashing areas, installation of new walls and flooring to convert the existing area into exam rooms, modification of existing utilities and installation of new electrical and mechanical systems to serve the exam rooms. Cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. NAICS Code 233320 with a size standard of $28.5 million applies to this procurement. This procurement is 100% HUBZONE setaside and evidence of HUBZONE certification must be submitted with bids. Electronic solicitation documents to include Invitation for Bid, contract forms, specifications and drawings will be available in electronic format only through VA's website at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov or FedBizOpps at http://fedbizopps.gov. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 13, 2003, 10:00 a.m., local time, Bldg. 21, Rm BA02 (Engineering).
